Start by trying not to think “Why isn’t this working?” Accept your disappointment, and move on.
There probably isn’t a good answer as to why things happen the way they do, so it’s better to ask yourself:
- “How can I do better in the future?”
- “How can I break this pattern?”
- “How can I get something good out of this?”
And you should always add the question: “How can I change the situation and make things better for myself and everyone involved?”
